Good stuff. There is a metallic, mineral veil to the red fruit, elegance, complexity and length. A baby, give it 10 years — 5 years ago

Color of bubbly purple, different shades. Quite dark considering she is a Pinot. Nose of dried strawberry, vanilla, warm spice, fermented prune, a bit cherry jam, and quite plummy. Taste shows similar signatures with addition of mellow tannins, extra touch of sweetness, drizzled zest, and refined acidity. Also quite silky. And some more ripe fruits. A full body, clean, yet non traditional Pinot Noir. Clean, flavorful, and well balanced, especially after she opens up. — 5 years ago
3 pack terroir series buy from Cristom- McMinnville, Dundee Hills, and Eola-Amity Hills. I wish i could open all three of these at once. Classic bright cherry, medium acid, light wine- I think this is the highest elevation of the three. Cellar would do it justice tho it’s real nice now. — 6 years ago
Canary Hill fruit from Ken Wright. 35 year old Pommard. Native ferment. Elegant. — 7 years ago

When I first opened, I was pretty shocked at how young it seemed. Lots of oak and restrained fruit. I decanted, and after an hour it began to show its age. Cigar box, leather, and currant. On the palate it was still fairly bright and mostly primary. Black fruit, some spice, a little vanilla on the back. Unmistakably new world. All in all drinking well for a nearly decade old wine. — 3 years ago
