Made and bought at Brooks Winery. 100 cases made. Pale yellow white, very good clarity. Honey, floral notes in nose. Soft, medium body, honey flavor. Dry to off-dry but fruit makes it taste like it's sweet, deceptively so. Some skin astringency on finish with citrus, honey and a slightly bitter aftertaste. A notoriously difficult grape to make (good) dry wines from, but this one is decidedly above average. Worth seeking out if, like me, you admire well-made dry muscats — 7 years ago

Best label of the year? tastes as good as it looks. Dry yet not austere. Methode Traditionelle. Chris Williams is a singular winemaker. Jimi Brooks would be proud. — 7 years ago
More approachable than 2015. If anyone else makes a better Riesling in the New World, I’d certainly like to know about it. — 7 years ago
