Made and bought at Brooks Winery. 100 cases made. Pale yellow white, very good clarity. Honey, floral notes in nose. Soft, medium body, honey flavor. Dry to off-dry but fruit makes it taste like it's sweet, deceptively so. Some skin astringency on finish with citrus, honey and a slightly bitter aftertaste. A notoriously difficult grape to make (good) dry wines from, but this one is decidedly above average. Worth seeking out if, like me, you admire well-made dry muscats

Brooks alt label. Dry muscat. A big ol' bouquet. To the point and easy to finish a bottle on a hot Saturday afternoon. I'm really enjoying the WV move towards drying out sweet wines.
