This is actually the kriek version of the great Cuvee de Jacobins Rouge, and it is fantastic! Great combination of funk and tart cherries on the nose, the palate is refined with the cherry component taking just enough off the edge of the sourness to make it perfectly balanced. Never had this before...but this will not be the last! — 8 years ago
Fabulous, could potentially age a year or two more but beautiful wine with black cherry on the front, spicy mid pallet and finishing with black berry tannins — 9 years ago
Super tasty. Menthol cigarette, hay barn, well balanced. — 10 years ago
Fruit forward and big. Juicy but not too sweet. Great by itself. — 3 years ago

This was freaking delicious! — 9 years ago
Interesting spice, orange rind and vanilla mixture here, with good structure and lofty acidity creating flow and balance. Aged but still vivid. — 10 years ago
Bought in Beaune, France in 1999. Boyer and I visited winery and had shipped. — 11 years ago

Vintage 2915 | Biowine. Obvious very young, dark colour with redbrown rim. I was attracted by the beautiful smell with many layers: pencil shaving, leather, tobacco and even roses. Way too young to be drunk but the potential is very clear. To put away in the cellar, far away in a cellar. — 3 years ago
