2007 Petit Guiraud Sauternes. Excellent. — 12 years ago
Archetypal Bordeaux - old world in style, but where the savory characteristics are well-integrated with common Bordeaux fruit notes. Well-structured and precise, with notes of blackberry, cassis, tobacco, cedar, and vanilla with a long, somewhat chalky finish. — 6 years ago
This is only going to get better as it ages. — 10 years ago

Dark ruby, big mocha, chocolate, and raspberry on the nose. Heavy on the pallet with great gripping tannins. I love this wine. — 8 years ago

Quick notes from a charity dinner event. The first bottle. Initial nose was earth and hint of barnyard. Probably too chilled. As it warmed up, lovely mix of tropical and citrus fruits. Good texture and crisp acidity. A good start. — 3 years ago
