Mmmmmm Grenache. So soft and lovely...like a well aged and taken care of older woman; Delicious and not so forward on why. The seriousness level is like at 10% here with chewy fruity notes...not thick...but full and sun tanned. A likely player to test against many of the other cotes du rhone players. What a fantastic Cote du Rhone! It is everything I could ever want in in a Rhone wine. Unfortunately the owner of the wine bar bought every case he could get his hands on. So you have to go to the Plaza Food Court wine bar on Central Park South if you want to sample this ambrosia!
