WOW! The first Rose I've tasted from the Domaine Lucci/Lucy Margaux stable. Vibrant light red fruits with citrus peel (orange) and delicate steamy/herbal whole bunch nose. I would pour this wine as a summer aperitif at a white-tie event! Today it traversed a Kingfish sashimi with crushed peppers and Mandarin oil and sautéed wild Mushrooms, turnip purée and carrot marmalade. A wine of gravitas and folly! The balance and intensity matches seamlessly with the light spritzig minimal intervention style. An Aussie icon in a Rose style! — 10 years ago
New release chardonnay, absolutely nuts. — 10 years ago
Pretty salmon color with strawberry, raspberry, stone fruit, and a hint of floral aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, and fresh with juicy strawberry, raspberry, stone fruit, and a hint of savory spice with a mineral element and a lingering finish. 14.1% alcohol. Barrel fermented in 80% stainless and 20% neutral French oak. Retail $28 — 11 years ago
Wine folly calls Chablis the cocaine of Chardonnay. Spot on. So good and a great example of Chablis. — 11 years ago

I loved this so much!! It was even better sipping it on A balcony overlooking Folly Beach! It was so tart and wonderful. — 9 years ago
Delicious as hell! Initially has that weird medicinal / floral Beaujolais thing that freaked me out at first but have grown to love. Then comes the bright, delicious fruit and floral / spice flavors. After open for 30-45 mins can maybe taste some of the banana that my Wine Folly book says may be there. Will be buying a case at some point. — 10 years ago
Wonderfully refreshing -- has the typical northern Balaton slight mineraly/salty hint to it. — 10 years ago
It is absolutely amazing....the pros are clowns on this one. This is a consistent vineyard....you will not be disappointed. — 10 years ago
Bought at winery. Pure honeysuckle, rose petal, mellon, and pear with nice mid weight palate. A treat. — 10 years ago
2012 at Brick House Folly Beach. Full round body with a spice finish-nice. We'll see how it breathes. — 11 years ago
My first folly. Come and get it for cheep while it lasts. $25 a glass as my introductory premium cab by the glass to salute my promotion. Letting everyone get a taste of a classic vineyard that made me a lot of $. — 11 years ago
Very nice blend. Great price too. A good amount of spice and fruit. — 12 years ago
Hmmm, wonder why I like this! — 13 years ago
Really good. Thought it was tasty and unique. — 9 years ago
So baffled. Never , ever.....EVER have I had any wine that defied my pallet, but fascinated it so immensely in the same sitting. Bizarre.....yet beautiful. Pungent......yet poised. Intense......yet intricate. It's like the damn Ringling Bros circus clowns conducting a symphony orchestra — 10 years ago

The wine folly said it was the most manly of the roses so my husband had to try it. We liked the extra body. — 9 years ago
