Sesta Di Sopra Brunello Di Montalcino DOCG 2016: Medium-plus bodied. Well structured & balanced. Velvety tannins. Red & dark fruit dominate. Leather. Tobacco. Oak. Earth. Long smooth finish. For me, this was a beautiful classic Brunello that delivered in taste and expectations. You will definitely need time for it to show its true beauty however you won’t be disappointed. Tonight I am enjoying the 2018 Torrione Petrolo Val D'Arno Di Sopra Petraviva Rosso. Super Tuscan from Bucine, Italy. A blend of 80% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.

On the nose we have blackberry, cherry, black olive, anise, dried roses, cedar, tobacco, leather and earth.

On rhe palate is red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, red currant, cassis, wild herbs, spice, pencil shavings and earth.

This wine is full bodied supple and very delicious medium + to high acidity and medium + to high firm sandy mouthcoating tannins that leave you with a long red and black fruit herbaceous finish. A new week again is upon us with many new and exciting challenges. Lets meet these challenges head on and make it a fruitful experience. Please stay safe and healthy and enjoy the week. Decisamente un Verdicchio sopra le righe. Il territorio è quello di Matelica, meno famoso ma disseminato di ottime cantine e grandi vini.
Pieno, rotondo, fresco e minerale. Note di caramella all'anice, mou e mandarino. Bocca piena e succosa, un sorso ti appaga per diversi minuti, ma poi ti dice che non basta e ne vuoi ancora, fino a che@la bottiglia nonnsi svuota. Annata 2011 — 9 years ago
