Intense red almost purple. In the nose nice minerality, umami, herbs with a strong thime finish. On the palate black cherries, leather, blackberry. Nice minerality with balanced and moderate tannins. Overall great wine. Perfect companion for a rare steak. — 3 years ago

Champagne 2 of 4 and second place in the tasting. Older vintage so brought out some interesting funky characteristics of baked apple pie and brioche. — 5 years ago

Quality and light, fragrant and easy to drink — 5 years ago
Nose has yeasty bread, green mango, fresh lemon peel, clementine wedges, oxidized pear and wet, crushed limestone.
Palate has insane citrus rind, cold clementine slices, squeeze of lime, firm apricot, yellow apple peel and yeasty minerals (if that were a thing).
Crazy amount of power behind each sip, reveals so many layers and nuances as it warms in the glass, stunning.
Blend of 2012/2013 plus reserve wine, partial malolactic, half in stainless and half in oak barrel, 12 months elevage and 41 months of bottle age, all Grand Cru from Avize. Fun stuff here tonight! — 6 years ago
