Chateau Clou Du Pin

Côtes de Bordeaux Castillon Red Bordeaux Blend 2018

2018 vintage. Last tasted 6.11.24 (9.3), 2.18.22 (9.2) and 10.20.21 (9.2). Just getting better and better. From the peeps that deliver Le Pin and L'If. Absolutely shredding for the QPR. Picking it up at under $30 USD a btl. Unavailable locally so hadda undergo a quest/journey to pick up a decent amount. Quest/journey is about to start yet again...04.15.25. — 7 months ago

Bordeaux doesn’t have to be expensive to be delicious or age. The 2001 is in great shape, still fresh, nuanced and a pleasure to drink! — 7 years ago

Sur Le Sentier Du Clou Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Chardonnay 2011

Nice premier cru from St Aubin with just over 10 years age. Was honestly hoping for a bit more overall but this was an excellent pairing with some blackened sea bass. Not okay at all, definite green minerality characteristic that is hard for me to describe. Medium minus acid and the finish isn’t quite all encompassing. But still a nice wine. — 4 years ago

— 8 years ago

Le Vieux Pin

British Columbia Petit Blanc 2022

The Sauvignon blanc lightly shows through with subtle notes of gooseberry and lime but is completed well by the Pinot Gris and Marsanne with hints of tropical fruits and subtle florals. A very good wine! — a year ago

I really like that wine, especially with a bit of age, which allows the tannins to integrate.
