Wow, what a bouquet, showing crushed cherry and strawberry mixed with wild herbs, yellow florals and crushed stone. It continued to open more and more over time. On the palate I found youthfully lean textures with tart black cherry, bitter herbs, zesty acidity and savory mineral tones. Nose has chalkboard dust, mashed cherries, raspberry, ripe currant, oak bark, (minor) moist garden soil, milk chocolate bar and moist pipe tobacco.

Palate has crushed cherries, orange peel, ripe black currant, blackberry, graphite and medium tannins. Long finish, amazing bottle this evening.

About two years since our last bottle, doing very, very well this evening, can hold another 6-12Y (2026-32) in proper storage. — 5 years ago
