We made 2 mistakes with this wine: drinking it too young and not giving it more time to air. A couple of hours decanting would have been ideal. The wine cannot be faulted for either of those! Got this in a collector club wine package. Hints of jam, spice and leather. I had this at dinner with a strip steak prepared with thyme, rosemary, garlic and compound butter. The pairing was perfect and the wine didn’t see the next day’s sunrise. — 2 years ago
