Checking in on this one. Purchased a case for the restaurant 2 years ago and it wasn't ready. Now it's beautifully subtle, quiet and peaceful as the place it comes from. I want to sleep naked in a bed with sheets that have the same texture as this wine. — 8 years ago

Vintage 2014 | made from Auxxerrois by Abi Duhr. Big, big surprise! This stood out next to a archetypical Chardonnay from Chassagne-Montrachet. Appealing nose with butter, pear and minerals. Great balance. Fine food pairing with potted shrimp. By far the best wine I have had from Luxemburg. Only 500 bottles made in a year, this is certainly a wine to search for. — 5 years ago

Nose has yeasty bread, green mango, fresh lemon peel, clementine wedges, oxidized pear and wet, crushed limestone.
Palate has insane citrus rind, cold clementine slices, squeeze of lime, firm apricot, yellow apple peel and yeasty minerals (if that were a thing).
Crazy amount of power behind each sip, reveals so many layers and nuances as it warms in the glass, stunning.
Blend of 2012/2013 plus reserve wine, partial malolactic, half in stainless and half in oak barrel, 12 months elevage and 41 months of bottle age, all Grand Cru from Avize. Fun stuff here tonight! — 6 years ago
All the herbs and spice you could ever want, but with some wonderful nuances. Passion fruit and lime zest sing in the upper register above a subtle layer of smoky flint. Minerality that builds and lingers on the palate, finishing with a savory salinity. Superb. — 7 years ago
A Saint-Joseph party 🎉🍷wine! Wildly smellicious. Bloody animal carcass, pink grapefruit rind, uncracked peppercorns, cracked stones, hint of milk chocolate. Smooth, velvety soft, and gluggable texture. Not super concentrated, but plenty flavorful enough. Blood-soaked salty rocks, peppercorns, and some alien form of wild dark berries. No structure for aging, but funky fun right now. — 8 years ago
