Love it for 11$. Well balanced with fruit and acidity and tannins. Bright at first but, gets sweeter as it breaths. — 9 years ago
The 2009 vintage that we had just prior to this was better -- 9.1 — 9 years ago
Great big violets, cherries and blueberries. Has the tension of a heavier spatburgunder. Tannins are fine grained and integrated. So many flowers, lots of perfume. Happy making juice here. Not simple, depth of flavor, good balance, enough tannins to have a long finish. Good stuff. — 4 years ago
Color : White
Wine estate : Louis Bovard
Designation : Saint-Saphorin
Name : Salix Chenin Blanc
Country : Switzerland
Vivino : 4.5/5
Note : The Salix from Bovard is beautiful! A light yellow silky robe and a nose of citrus fruits, pears and apples accompanied by a slight mineral touch. On the palate, Salix is gourmet, tasty, long and refreshes us. A taste as an aperitif, eating or even alone, it will always make you happy.

Very complex. Apricot shines through. Tastes of baked cake. Forward, but not too flowery. — 7 years ago

Spectacular on open, but fell a bit asleep in the glass and component parts started to show. Will the 90 Grand Crus ever waken to their on release potenential? — 11 years ago
One word magnificent a must try and buy for an evenings enjoyment — 6 years ago
Litt såpete. Syns rødvin kan skape en ekstra flapp på tungen bak. Som når du smaker chili. Legger seg bak. Ellers god — 6 years ago
Extremely drinkable... even without food. Am loving everything out of 2015... — 7 years ago
Oily and beautiful. Not brimming with acidity that will shoot to the stars, but it's softer palate feel is welcomed and very pleasant to sip on. — 7 years ago
A blend from several sites, this full robust Beaujolais, deep in color, shows aromas of ripe red fruits and spices. On the palate fresh cherry and strawberry with pepper spice and hints of floral. Rich fine tannins with lively acidity will enable this wine to gain benefit with some cellaring. Tasting Sample. — 7 years ago
Really great Burgundian pinot. Loved it. — 8 years ago
A very enjoyable if not a bit of a lighter Bordeaux. Opened nicely and a nice deep color. A very good value. — 8 years ago
This 2013 bottle was lovely. Had a fruity aroma and which was then backed up by its flavour. A pleasant after taste meant that you always wanted to go back for another sip! — 9 years ago
