Nice but not amazing. For $40 would probably skip. Decanted 5 hours. Air was necessary - can believe this would be better in a few years but meh. Tannins are quite balanced, surprisingly so. Overall the nose is a bit muted but air helped. Nice dark fruit. Could use a smidge more acid. Nice pairing with a delicious wagyu tomahawk. — 9 months ago

Medium ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cranberry, pepper, plum, toast, and vanilla. Medium-plus body; firm, medium-plus tannins and refreshing, medium-plus acidity. An rich, ripe bouquet of fruit and spice; a soft, well-integrated mouthfeel; and an easygoing finish (with a little heat on the backend). A solid, everyday wine. Medium ruby , thin slightly pink ruby rim . Quite dark fruit with cassis , blackberry , grafite . On the palate quite ripe and juicy , but with good balance , slightly gritty but ripe tannins , good cassis tinged , grafite finish . Overall this shows well , with good density and juiciness , sweet but importantly with a very balanced , refreshing personality. Enjoyable now , fruit forward , but no doubt can age well over the next 10 years. Enjoyable and moreish . — 9 months ago
