Last night I opened the 2010 Chateau Feytit-Lagrave a Bordeaux right bank blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc from Pomerol.

On the nose were notes of strawberry, plum, raspberry, kirsch, clove, mocha and lavender.

The palate gives notes of tart cherry, tart raspberry, plum, licorice, a bit of oak and a spicy finish.

The wine is medium bodied with medium acidity and medium smooth tannins. A nice everyday wine drinks well now. Have a safe and happy weekend. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷 — 7 years ago
