**NOTE: Delectable can't find the correct label for the Rully Rouge, only the blanc so pay no attention to the name.**
Very pretty from Rully! Fresh wild flowers & thyme, and cran/pomm on the nose and morning dew in the forest. The pallet was delicate, fruitful and an absolutely beautiful color. Raspberry, very faint note of white pepper & clove... more of a fruit forward style wine but none the less absolutely delicious. Made a perfect pairing for what I made for dinner:
Salmon seasoned with thyme, and a scotch cream sauce (made with Monkey Shoulder) accompanied by roasted fingerling potatoes and steamed green beans. Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm.
Perfect burgundy to serve at a party might I add.. clean acidity, balanced fruits.. good effort Latour — 9 years ago

Lovely pale straw colour. Fresh, citrus nose. Pineapple, a touch of oak and vanilla on the plate, with a long buttery acidy finish. An excellent wine, typical modern and impeccably-executed — at NOA, Tallinn — 5 years ago

Yeah I'm gonna need some more of these — 8 years ago
Completely different from the first bottle I had of this vintage several months ago. Lots of oak and buttery Chardonnay. Still a bit of green apple, but not as pronounced as the first bottle. — 9 years ago

That classic pineapple cake, pear candy, clotted cream, vanilla yogurt. Gorgeous. Drinking perfect now. — 5 years ago

A little oaky on its own but a great food wine — 7 years ago

2021/4. I feel like de Villaine’s Chardonnays have a bit more depth and savor than they did a decade ago - and they were certainly good then. This was lovely, with lots of fresh fruit and acidity but some sneaky stone, butter and hazelnut lurking. — 5 years ago
