2005 vintage. Decanted and tasted after two hours. Nose at the beginning was the usual D'Issan tight as nails. Maan, this wine always needs to be left alone to come out of the shell. Some milk chocolate and cocoa powder alongside the dense, dark fruits and earth that was appointed to the front lines at the onset. Showing pretty nicely currently with that mandatory airtime. 04.25.25. — 6 months ago
Much brighter than the 2009 chateau d'issan that we had. Good amount of fruit but not a fruit bomb. Good, tasty. More complexities than the Dissan. That one is much more dark. — 8 years ago
Chef Vola with the Stivala crew. Unbelievable smooth. — 2 months ago
If the d'Issan was a treat this was...Utterly delicious, and from a larger format would've been sublime I have no doubt — 10 years ago

Delayed attack of raspberry and clove. The finest tannin coats the mouth. Yum. — a month ago
