Great wine of Bordeaux. — 9 years ago
Muted nose. Gold color. Myer lemon curd. Smooth, little acidity. Layers of minerality on finish, with more lemon. Complex. — 9 years ago
Medium nose with mature, slightly buttery nose. Medium to full body, rich fruit, fat, oily, aromatic and fresh acidity, long finnish. — 9 years ago
2011: lovely and very elegant. Not a profound nose, but alluring with a spring flowers touch, chalky stone and good fresh primary fruit (Apple, peach). Quite nervy on the palate with a distinct vein of minerality. Med- bodied, with fresh acidity and only lightly creamy, with a hint of oak to finish. Real top stuff. — 10 years ago
By itself it's alright, but with a spicy cured meat and some hard cheese this wine shines — 11 years ago
GL Burg Pernot tasting 2/8/17. Starter for second flight. Yum. Tasty and impressive in its balance and stony character. — 8 years ago
Started out all berries and shaved chocolate and opened up beautifully....then really clamped down a bit after a couple hours...killer wine just starting to show some age notes but leave it alone still....really nice next to the 2004 Pontet Canet. — 9 years ago

Niiiccce. Huge limestone and contrasting canned pineapple and pear. Monster wine, lots of material here but still waiting to integrate. — 8 years ago
Champs Canet, from a friend who rode this bottle in a basket from the winery to my cellar. Relish! — 10 years ago

Classic lunch bags and just a stellar treat in a crowded sea of Napa cab. My fave 5th growth by a long shot but Pontet Canet and Grand Puy Lacoste aren't far behind. The Lynch seems to shine for me regardless of vintage. — 8 years ago
