A bit full and round for Beaune but a lovely drink — 5 years ago
This wine has evolved wonderfully over the last 10 years...
Dark macerated fruit notes, tossed wet earth, bloody/gamey meat, charred oak and balsamico. At age 20, all components have melted into this beautiful beasty boy and those chewy but well dosed tannines provide a great harmonious structure.
Well done! 👍🏻
Went super next to a plate of meatballs and ravioli. — 6 years ago
100% Pinot Noir.
Medium garnet with bricked/sun-dried undertone. Clear and compact rim.
Lots of secondary characters showing in the aromas with cured meat, mushroom, old leather, dried cherry. Yet decent amount of fresh (and almost candied) red fruits still very much present.
The palate is less integrated (and probably less interesting). Integrated tannin, medium high acidity, medium bodied, dry. Traces of un-integrated new oak spices, red candied cherry, vanilla seeds, cinnamon stick with some complexity developing in the background.
Overall, this wine confuses me a little with its future direction but at the moment I like it enough to happily drink a few glasses if offered. 90. — 8 years ago
Out of the ordinary Vernaccia di Oristano. The nose is intriguing but it is in the mouth where this Wine gets extraordinary with an infinite persistency — 8 years ago
Liquirizia fortissima. Ancora un abbastanza pronunciato sentore alcolico da stemperare in almeno due tre anni di invecchiamento — 8 years ago
Bold flavor. Tart nose. Would be good with pasta dinner. — 5 years ago
Very nice, reach taste. After one hour smooth and fruity. Love Amarone 😋 — 5 years ago
Fruity, easy drinker, lots of taste with easy finish. Oxidizes quick so finish in one sitting — 6 years ago
What an amazing blend! This is a strong, funky wine that slaps you right in the face! Bright purple/magenta, sediment, lots of viscosity, powerful nose sees ripe cherries, oak, vanilla, cured meats, palette sees bright ripe cherries, lots of acid, medium+ tannins, high alcohol finish. This is an extreme, untamed, wild wine in every sense. Enjoyable, invigorating! — 7 years ago
100% Pinot Meunier champagne without bubbles. Brilliant expression of how Bedel makes wine first and foremost. — 8 years ago
Awesome grip, very classic. — 8 years ago
The 2001 Dieci Anni Vigna Rionda Barolo Reserva opened with dark fruits, cola, brown sugar, leather and dried violets. As the bottle developed the cola continued to thrive with more red fruits coming through with even a hint of heavy strawberry and cream on the end. An exceptional bottle — 9 years ago
Always a reliable red blend — 5 years ago
Takes 2 hours to open up but then cherry and soft tannins. — 6 years ago
My go to champagne. Love blanc de blanc just the right amount of dryness. Can get from BevMo 2 for $20 on their 5 cent sale. Don't let the price fool you- give it a try. — 8 years ago
Holy shit. Amazing acidity still at the core with deep amber toffee, bananas foster for miles & miles on the nose. Palette was that killer acidity with saline on the edge. Ruch nuttiness throughout. Steller. — 8 years ago

Leggermente più acido sarebbe perfetto. 16 anni portati bene — 5 years ago
