Nice set of four Vacqueuras 60/40 Grenache/Syrah blends from Henri Bungener at RawWine LA, represented by the Carmin Brillant here. Each of the four are the same blend but each from a different part of the Vineyard slope with different soil/geologic features. The Fruit Sauvage bottling was a 9.2 and went very well with Soft Pretzel and Sausage sampler at Tabula Rasa. — 7 years ago

I think this might be the last remaining bottle I bought from Caveau, @Eric Brown — 6 years ago
Excellent! Déjà. Si mes souvenirs sont bons, tout le monde en a pris 3 lors de notre visite au caveau. Allez y, ça se goûte très bien. De la matière mais très bien intégrée, pas de lourdeur, pas de finale alcooleuse. — 8 years ago

The newest addition to the Caveau family. So good. Very clean, pure, fresh... — 9 years ago
Heavy, rich tannery, leather, cigar smoke, hot cinnamon. Plums.
Woah, reminds me why I love this region. Not the most rounded Vacqueyras I’ve had, but definitely got the smokey, rich, spicy, full body notes I love, paired with an incredibly silky mouthfeel.
Intense fruits of blackberry, raspberry, plums. Moderate to high acidity works well here with the intense jams. — 5 years ago

2010 vintage at Le Caveau — 9 years ago
Light & BRIGHT with mildly flinty nose--- tons of beach plum jelly & tart raspberry candy on the palate---gentle yet present grip. Gulp-able & legit fun. Fine companion to fatty duck. — 9 years ago

Dark berries and earth. Juicy, great warm weather red. Reminds me of local wine in Italy. Had with Kerk burgers. From The Independent Caveau. — 5 years ago
