On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum, with cacao, tobacco and oaky notes. Nice balance, soft chewy tannins, long finish ending with creamy vanilla spice and cedar character. This is more refined the second time around. Pulled a few fun bottles and this has gotten to a place that it's beyond the simple side. Leather, dark cherries stand out on the nose. Dark fruit on the palate is sitting beautifully. Tannins still slightly aggressive but it was enjoyable. I'd still pick this as a Cabernet blindly. Wish I would've bought more! — 9 years ago
