Not quite as yeasty as a rose champagne but quite lovely to celebrate an anniversary — 6 years ago
Paired well with a robust French chicken, vegetable, risotto dish. Would buy again. Purchased at Wholefoods $19. — 7 years ago
Gorgeous clay-like nose. Juicy and dense, with insane tannin management, gorgeous granite, acidity, velvet texture, freshness and unreal energy. So, so sick. — 20 days ago
Very intense flavor. Really great with quail. I highly recommend. Wish I had more! — 5 years ago
Surprenant vin acheté Place Saint Job, a la cave du Refuge. Très doux, épicé comme il faut, sur le fruit des bois.#love it — 6 years ago
Nice GSM southern France
Silky tannins with really longish finish
Nice change from Barossa GSMs - the Shiraz does not drown the blend — 7 years ago
Delicious!! One of my faves from Uncorked. — 7 years ago
No decant; straight from the Cave. Lovely spice aromas here (cloves, cinnamon, walnut), supported by fine oak, tobacco and aged cigar box scents. Complex. Medium-body, still shy! Plums, dark cherries and an iron-like close on the still tight finish. Rich fruits shining through but tightly restrained by still lively tannins. Impressive. — 8 years ago

Astonishing right out of the bottle. Gorgeous Northern Rhône nose of green and black olive, granite, blackberry, red currant and wild Syrah perfume. But the story is the tannins. My God. The refinement here is insane: molten, elegant, seamless tannins that melt across the palate with ridiculous class. So drinkable, so pure, so balanced, with deep fruit, granitic freshness and a long, graceful finish. This is my favorite Saint-Joseph, and it is drinking beautifully already. — a day ago
