The splashy label gave me pause and I approached with caution, but once I tasted, I was hooked. Fruity and warm without being a fruit bomb. Strong finish with stewed fruit and a hint of star anise. I would enjoy this all night solo hit it begs for food. — 10 years ago
Great fruit. Soft tannins. Really well balanced. Great bottle of wine. — 11 years ago
Melon, apple. Pear. Classic Butter popcorn. Some very slight grassiness or herb. Vanilla ramps up on the finish. Complex, strong, and perfectly oaked. Lots of soul here. — 8 years ago
Super deep and dark ruby red with an almost black core. Dark baking spices in the front of the nose followed by dark fruits, especially dark dark cherries. With some air there were some purple floral notes and more vanilla. Moderate tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Initially a little tight so we gave it a splash decant. Around an hour or so in, tons of cinnamon and other dark spices. Strong undertone of puréed dark berries and light herbs too. Long body but this needs a little more bottle age. Cannot wait to try it again at the release party next month. Drink till 2028. — 8 years ago

Nice golden color. Smoky popcorn tropical fruit aromas, dense and layered. A thick chard with a healthy pop of acidity that switches the finish into a lime mineral bomb. I am intrigued. Still young. — 10 years ago
