Great flavor, not overly sweet, tasty, and smooth; missing some citrus flavor — 6 years ago
At first we thought it was corked. After about an hour it started kicking off and probably with more time would even excel. Black and red cherry notes with earthy - leathery spices. Light, soft and balanced tannins. High rate for its age. — 7 years ago
Beautiful wine. Fresh, poised, great applet citrus fruit with elegance, a touch of spice and depth. Real length...classy and focused. — 8 years ago
Amazing, moscatel heaven — 8 years ago
a great introduction to porto wine for the uninitiated — 9 years ago
I have yet to have a Touriga Nacional blend that inspires greatness. This is a good quaffing wine for the cheap price. Portugal is a nice untapped area as far as getting steals on your wine goes. — 9 years ago
Really hit its stride the 3rd day open — 2 years ago
a constellation of factors came together such that I opened this young bottle—recent acquisition of 6 more bottles, the memory of 1990 Comtes on release, a Galloni post on Delectable touting the wine, and a thirst for quality champagne.
Delicious and more open than 08 Dom today, it’s not real creamy but has super balance and drive, delicious fruit, very expansive on the palate as it warms. Each glass gets better. Sweet midpalate fruit that is dense but not weighty, incredible persistence on the palate, really a wow.

Crisp, bitter, heavier Rioja. Amazing with cheese cubes — 5 years ago
Dark berries and a hint of orange peel, with a little graphite and stone. Medium acidity and tannins. Very good value, which is typical of the wines I’ve had from this producer. — 6 years ago
Big, full, heavy. We loved it. — 8 years ago
What a discovery, at $20 a bottle this is a massive deal on quality. Berries, Plum, Spices but above all, a perfect balance between sweetness (not overpowering ) and alcohol , an excellent price-quality ratio — 8 years ago
Completely wonderful. Top of its game, not going any longer. Wonderful sherry oxidative notes. Flora and light. — 9 years ago
An excellent, drinkable Grenache. — 9 years ago
A great wine for a special day. The name Casa Real is to honor Don Vicente Garcia Huidobro, whose title was given by the King of Spain in the 18th century.
It is the best of the chilean terroir, coming from the heart of Vale del Maipo. Preserved in French oak, it's a must! After "breathing" it gets even better. Cheers!

Beautiful vintage Krug, but clearly still very young (which is slightly nuts). Bubbles are quite fine but still very present. Yeasty and mouth filling - there is real power here. Deep and intense on the palate, long finish, great acid. Very fun to try - but would love to try in 5-10 years. — 3 years ago
Black currant on nose and taste with cherries hint of cocoa great length. Very subtle tannins. 1-2 more bottles drink over next 2 years. — 4 years ago
Once the gun smoke cleared, this thing had remarkably present dried fruit and herb with fully integrated oak. A birthday pull that reinforced that I’m not dead yet. — 5 years ago
2012 vintage is the perfect Cab- lush with a spicy fruit - really like this — 5 years ago
Great value rose! Very chillable and very drinkable. — 6 years ago
Make sure you decant this one - it's wayyyyy better! — 7 years ago
1973: Beautiful bottle. Wines like this make everyone stop and take notice. The color was clear and light. Arresting nose full of plums and roasted beets. The depth of flavor and long finish was in contrast with the appearance. Really a fine experience, only second to the few times I had the 1952 Mont Real. — 8 years ago
