You know that wonderful smell you get when you walk into a barrel room at a winery? That fruity oaky beautiful aroma that puts a smile on your face. That's exactly what I detected as I swirled and smelled. Lots of dark cherry, baking spice, and star anise on the palate with a strong oaky overtone. The wine is nicely balanced. The finish is fantastic with a lingering floral/fruit note. A fantastic wine! — 8 years ago
nice dry sparkling wine, would also be good for cocktail-making. — 9 years ago

Sweet champagne but not too sweet. Fantastic considering I normally don’t like fois gras that was paired with it. — 6 years ago

Very pleasant Champagne. Easy to enjoy — a year ago
Luscious and smooth. Sweet cherry nose. Plums, bing cherries, currants on the palette that lingers through the finish. No tannic or oaky bite. — 2 years ago

This exceptionally clean, refreshing Champagne comes from the northwest part of the region in the tiny village of Brouillet. It is composed of 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Meunier all from the Ariston estate and aged five years on the lees. Paul likes a good pop, so this starts out at seven atmospheres of pressure as opposed to the usual six. The Carte Blanche has citric zip, and very subtle depth that is worth searching for! — 8 years ago
