Aromas of ripe dark fruits, cooking spice and smoky notes. On the palate of this bug wine, flavors of blackberry and plum, raisin like tones with cacao, oak and cinnamon spice. Rich tannins, soft, lingering well balanced ending with smoky spice. Very Nice. Tasting Sample. — 5 years ago
Wow! I prefer Barolo but prefer not to spend. Smooth cherry. Short finish. Drinkable — 7 years ago

Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, vanilla, cherry oak. On the palate, cherry, oak, Vanilla, medium long finish of same. — 3 years ago
Beautiful balance of bright sour cherry and the deeper golden raisin flavors. Great tannin structure and some tan soil terroir notes give the fruit depth. The nose is a lively preview. Definitely shines at cellar temps — don’t let this one get to room temp or the alcohol gets too hot (at 15.5% that’s bound to happen). Drinking great 7 years in. — 6 years ago
Tart and dark cherry, earthy, some green vegetal notes. Doesn’t have the same depth of Sun dried red fruit as other ripassos I’ve tried, but it’s a solid example of the style. — 10 months ago
Great red blend! Easy for the masses. Perfect dryness with robust flavors. — 5 years ago
Decadent cherries with some toasty complexity after the initial taste. Yum! — 6 years ago
Red fruit, black plum, forest floor, orange rind, cocoa, cinnamon and a touch of smoke to balance things out. Lovely. — 7 years ago

Wow. Absolutely stunning. I recommend letting it aerate for a day; this really needs to open. Having said that, I probably won’t open my other bottles before 5 years. A hint of sweetness on the nose but mostly blackberry, boysenberry and earthiness on my palate. Yum 😋 — 7 days ago
