Bing cherry and dark chocolate lead to a velvety smooth finish with a touch of sweetness and full body. Awesome wine.

Nose smells suspiciously like wet cardboard, but it tastes good. With Rhonda's pappardelle it shines much much better.

Always a great value Ripasso. For under $20.00 this will never disappoint. Typical light and fruity style intended for early consumption. This 2015 has a bit of coffee and raisin. Very drinkable today.

May 16th, 2015I start to swallow Ripasso like Cooke Monster cookies, this one needs to mellow down, and in a few years will show up its power. Right now beside it's full of dense wild cherry fruit it tastes also bitter & missing some roundness and balance overall. I liked the dark side if this bottle with forrest bottom taste smell and taste, but it's not as easy as other Ripasso I drank before.vintage 2012
