Rich berries smell. Like walking into a farmers market. Delicious scent of a berry pie and yet a very slither of earthyness. Less than mildly sweet. I would imagine well with red meat and accentuated on whites. Overtones of black berries ripe with sweetness. Mellow aftertaste with hints of summer. This is good Bordeaux! — 9 years ago

Cinnamon and I love cooking together on Sunday's, and we took advantage of the Indian Summer farmers market to buy ingredients for ratatouille! This rather suave Nuits was generously aromatic and full of mid palate sap- are these old vines on the Vosne side of the village? The 2004 vintage is not fashionable, but iris our style...
