Full but not too much, enjoying with chicken — 6 years ago
Way too young. Couldn't enjoy the wine much due to not enough breathing time. Will wait for another 20 years. — 8 years ago
Tasted from a 3 Liter/Double Mag. This wine is a big Yquem. The fruit flavors I get are honey melon, peach and pineapples. The botrytis is massive in this wine. I even prefer this wine to the 83, 86 and 89. However, due to the rains in 82, there is not much to go around. Harvest began on September 16 and ended on the 25. Five weeks of rain follow. They will waited until November 7 to make a final pass. — 8 years ago
Lots of fun bottles were popped at Al’s hosting this past weekend for his birthday celebration. All were served blind. 1 sparkler, 2 whites, 6 reds and 1 dessert wine.
En mag. Probably the most difficult wine of the night to identify. Hardly anyone even got close to calling this cab. I was leaning Grenache or ripe vintage burgundy as I thought I was detecting a bit of whole cluster usage due to the lifted profile and stemmy/spice red fruit notes. Yet by the end of the night, the structure beefed up and the spice turned more sweet. Lovely cherry liqueur, sandalwood, baking spices and baked red fruited pie notes. — 5 years ago
Rustic and fast-forward, while dry and tasy. You can't do much better for $6. Thanks Lidl! — 5 years ago
Rather liked this one. Drake it at the bar at the Wine Steward and brought a bottle home. — 6 years ago
Dried cherries, Italian style. — 7 years ago
Lush black fruit flavors accompanied by lavender spice in the bouquet. This one sneaks up on you with the 15% abv. A modern take on the pleasures of drinking wines from the Cotes due Rhone. — 8 years ago
Nice crisp red. W Frank and Ellen — 5 years ago

Great Italian red wine. — 5 years ago
When you have to travel on a Sunday, and that Sunday happens to be Mother's Day, you're not exactly psyched. This little oasis in the Delta Sky Club afforded me the opportunity to smile. Not a bad pour, regardless of the price. Typical Lynch-Bages cigar tobacco and leather with some luscious and velvety black fruit. Finished a little flat, most likely due to being open for a while in the fancy automated pour gizmo. But still smiling! — 7 years ago
Bottled May 30, 2014. A little bit of added weight due to the aging. Really nice. — 8 years ago
