Advanced brownish color, not especially pretty. Nose has chestnut, wet leaves, roasted cherry skin, wild mint, and that ripe 2015 vulgarity creeping in. Palate is better: juicy, fresh, silky, with good concentration and length. A little heat at 14.5%, but nothing veal ragù couldn’t calm down. Good wine, but very much has 2015-itis, mascara running down its cheek. — 5 months ago

Traditional Barolo, full body but a bit too rough (strong rhubarb) but as airing is getting a bit smoother.
Otherwise nice Barolo.
