This is a wine that fits perfect on a hot summer day sitting outside enjoying the weather. Incredibly crisp and fresh, with the perfect amount of acidity. Pale in color, with great minerality. Very very good and would drink again — 6 months ago
Enjoyable… earthy salty.

This is the 2nd rated Vasse Felix Chardonnay behind the world class Heytesbury and ahead of the amazing value Filius. This was my last 2017 having made no notes for the first two. Expresses everything which is great about Margaret River Chardonnay. Complexity without cost. Ripe grapefruit with a balanced creamy French oak note which is largely integrated at 7 years of age. More citrus than stone fruit - a little nectarine? Great QPR at $31 AUD. — a year ago

Tasty white wine made with Falanghina grapes from the Campania region. Makes for great sipping in the spring and summer. Pairs well with with a variety of foods including Asian, poultry and of course pasta. Drank June 2025 — 6 months ago

3 hour decant. — 7 months ago
Decanted about 30 minutes prior to service; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2007 pours a deep ruby color with an opaque core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some signs of light sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with powerful notes of ripe red and dark fruits: brambles, kirsch, plum, tobacco, purple flowers, green bell pepper, leather, cocoa, and earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. This is positively delightful right now and there are little signs of slowing down. Drink now through 2037. — 10 months ago
Firm yet juicy, with nice cherry fruit and rocky minerality. Nice depth, slightly rustic yet juicy tannins and great flow.
8h in the decanter allows sufficient air time for opening up.

Baking spice apple earthy — 4 years ago
Pale golden yellow color with aromas of stone fruit, citrus and herb spice notes. On the palate flavors of apple with slight citrus and honey notes and herb spice. Good acidity, balance and structure, medium+ finish ending with earthy mineral character. Very Nice! — 7 months ago
Just a glass, but it was stunning. On the nose, notes of red fruits, peaches, flowers, chalk, herbs, spices, and light smokiness. Super saline and energetic on the palate, with a nice citric drive. Just so tasty. Wish there was more, but I was late to the party and that was all that was left for me. I guess I should be grateful. If anything, it firmly confirms my love for this cuvée - definitely one of my favourite rosés in Champagne. — a year ago
