Second time with this bottling and an equally stellar experience. This producer works magic with her rosados. Flat out some of the best I’ve ever had. Deep ruby red, with strawberry fruit and a crushed candy nose. Mouth is tart, salty, taffy textured, leesy, with an umami wave. All the savory components integrate seemlessly with the fruit. Super length. What a great wine. — 6 years ago

This was black as my soul. Seriously. So much suspended particulates. Still very good — 8 years ago
Tremendous smooth and rich on the tongue right out of the bottle. Slowly unfolded into a big smoke and leather taste. Gorgeous tannin not acidic but smooth. Some nice terroir. Outstanding. — 8 years ago

Grenache Blanc is my favorite white varietal and the boys at Waylan do it right!!! This vintage is like a Kelsea Ballerini song, light and happy with some a little bit of edge. — 6 years ago
Dark fruit, dry, not jammy or spicy — 7 years ago
Curious, so I decided to open up one of these while waiting for someone to help me consume the other half.... This wine is youthful, and for that reason is a bit out of balance from the previous wine I remembered and scored quite a bit higher than this one. This wine is a 93 right now, with potential for a 96-97 IMO. The fruit in front is massive. Black cherry, black licorice, but as @Shay A was mentioning there is a red fruity kind of touch to this one and I completely agree. The middle is a little bit muted vs. the previous vintage. The finish is quite peppery, toasted oak. Tons of potential on this full bodied Moon Mountain monster. Hold for the next 10 years. — 8 years ago
