Dry and delicious. — 7 years ago
Beautiful deep purple color. Plush aromas of sour cherries, plum and kirsch with just a whiff of alcohol pushing through. Juicy and vibrant on the palate with fresh acidity and fine tannins. Flavors of cherry and blackberries lead to vibrant, focused acidity. The finish is lead by notes of blueberry and kirsch followed by graphite and a floral note that lingers for 30 seconds or more. Delicious! — 7 years ago
Very delicate. Cherries, cigars, black currant. — 9 years ago
2012 wow. A big rich wine with plenty of earth and fruit and a touch of funk. Thought it would be lighter. But not complaining — 9 years ago

"National drink wine day" fun. An interesting wine. A tug between tart & savory; herbal & sweet (but a dry wine); or is it animal (brett) & mineral (rocky) ... Got me thinking & thinking is good. I like it & it's a bargain! — 10 years ago
Fresh, deep black fruits, complicated by a cool leather musk, and dense mineral finish. The best showing of the lineup at this stage. — 6 years ago
Lemon peel and green apple and little grass on the nose. Palate confirms the nose but addition of underripe pear and a purple floral note. Minerality. Round, tiny butter/creamy structure to finish. Great with pasta — 7 years ago
C'est toujours aussi bon. Rose, confiture de fraise, canne à sucre. — 8 years ago
