Tart and tangy with funky minerals and a little fizz. Great in the summer and with sweet and spicy black pepper tofu and eggplant! — 6 years ago
lightly sweet with honeysuckle and hints of tangerine. Gentle fizz and easy drinking, no cloying but a light finish (Richard likes this one) — 6 years ago
Minerals, minerals, and minerals. Stone fruit. Absolutely lovely fizz. Would bathe in. — 7 years ago
Strong apple and Chardonnay taste but delicious! Less bubbly than prosecco. Very enjoyable. — 7 years ago

Downed in an instant. Berry glitter party in you mouth. A hint of RS entirely balanced by the fizz. Honestly can’t remember flavors exactly, BUT I know it will make you feel like a star. — 6 years ago
This is absolutely one of the best Rosés for the money. With good Rosés now hovering around $40, this producer is one of the top producers in Basque Country. While others have dramatically increased their Rosés prices, Ameztoi has inched their prices year to year.
Rosés have gotten so popular and their prices have skyrocketed relatively high in the last five years. So much so, I just read an article about fake Roses being produced in and exported out of France.
I selected this Rosé for Hedy’s Strawberry Gazpacho, Tarragon, Basil, Olive Oil. It married the bright fruits nicely, strawberry. The Rosé has just a bit of fizz from the carbonic tank process. The minerality & hint of herbs made for a even tug of war with the Tarragon & Basil.

Sushi and Champagne is one of my favorite combinations. Indeed, almost all celebrations that @Cara Zimmerman and I enjoy together will include this duo. This was somewhat of a step up from our norm as Sushi Zo is a world apart from our usual delivery order of tuna and salmon rolls (with free edamame). Likewise this 1975 DP was rather more elevated than our weekly fizz.
Dark golden color with rich, brioche and mature elements. A touch too advanced but enormously attractive and retaining terrific purity and energy. Sushi and Champagne has rarely been such a treat. — 8 years ago
Tart, with a hint of strawberries. Smells boozy, a nice hazy pink color with lots of sediment. Lovely color, like an LA bathroom from the 50s. Strong fizz. Does not pair well with donuts. — 6 years ago
Such a weird and interesting wine - secco spumante Lambrusco from natural fermentation. Its not a wine really like any others. Deep concentration in color, and aromas of pencil box, Luxardo Cherry juice, purple flowers, and black raspberry. The pallet is fully of bright acidity, with prominiate tannin structure, black currant, dried herbs, and chalk mineral, all encompassed by medium fizz - similar to any other spumante wine from Italy. Perfect for pasta with a tomato based sauce and a touch of spice, or pizza - served slightly chilled. Too cold and this wine is worthless... 50-55 degrees is perfect. Gotta say I've enjoyed this wine more than I care to admit. Cheers 😁 — 7 years ago
Wonderful. I do that it looses its fizz quick. — 8 years ago
Deserves high praise. A ton of aromas from almond to wet iron, raspberry, chocolate. Fizz at the start, depth an hour later. Give it time to breathe, but drink a few sips of the unbreathed stuff right after uncorking too. — 8 years ago
