Full and ripe for a rose on the nose with notes of watermelon and cranberry. Juicy, rich and slightly peppery on the palate. Flavors of strawberry, cherries and watermelon lead to bold, deep minerality and a touch of black pepper. The finish is long and dry with crisp acidity and a touch of stone. Pairing this tonight with butternut squash soup and butternut squash ravioli. — 9 years ago

Fresh, citrus and apple with a toasty brioche background, loving this Blanquette de Limoux at a reasonable price. Try spicy butternut squash soup with blue cheese bits. Superb. — 9 years ago

Pairs great with a bright salad with a mustard vinegarette dressing and tomatoes. This would also go well with a steak or a butternut squash soup. The wine is smooth with hints of cherry and a little kick! Delicious! — 11 years ago

I get a lot of spice. Nutmeg specifically. Carnivores should buy this by the case. Would also be great with a butternut squash dish — 9 years ago
This Champagne is PQR.! It held its own against two other Champagnes that were 2 & 3 times the money. The nose had apple, honey, citrus, the palate was crisp but not as dry as you would think. Very nice mousse. Paired with Butternut Squash salad with dates & sherry vinaigrette. — 9 years ago
Good pumpkin on the nose, butternut, sandy soil, myrrh. Soft pumpkin tastes, brimming with lemon peel, iron minerality and expressive spicing. Plenty of beer profile interwoven. Coppery, raw gourd cooked to caramelly perfection. — 10 years ago

Terrific wine from Maggie Harrison at Antica Terra. Absolutely classic Oregon pinot nose (which for me is a combination of cool climate pinot aromas coupled with a great earthiness - a hypothetical hybrid between a Central Coast pinot with a Premier Cru burgundy). Has integrated beautifully in the 2-3 years since we last tried it, confirming for me the notion that top-flight Oregon pinots need a few years in the cellar for them to really shine. The ample (but not overwhelming) acidity coupled with the subdued sweetness on the palate paired beautifully with the roasted butternut squash pasta we enjoyed from Chef James at Dusty’s. Great balance through a lingering but lively finish, this wine has several years of evolution left. Way to go, Maggie! — 8 years ago
