Fresh nose, like Violets and pine trees. Slightly acidic; med-finish; Good tannic structured but not overpowering; Tart cherry/cranberry. Pretty :-) Paired with seared duck, butternut squash risotto, and garlic string beans on thanksgiving.

Earth and funk overshadow the fruit, but wonderfully made with nice notes of dark cherry and plum underneath all that earthy funk. Nice wine, but I prefer my Beaujolias from Fluerie, as it fronts the fruit more.
