An amazingly peaty experience. Strong barley nose but the first sip just hits you like a sledgehammer due to the enormous amount of peat. The best octomore I've tried so far. — 8 years ago
Last glass, wouldn't buy again, it was ok but not great, plus I like them a little bit older, — 8 years ago
Fell in love in Vancouver but wife needn't worry, no chance this love can last. Last few bottles of this magical elixir, honeyed-white-fruit nose and smooth and soft as a Persian pussycat, are spoken for. Find this if you can, your loved ones will understand. — 9 years ago

Just finished this bottle. Was given to me as a present about 18 months ago. Smokey, but not too much peat. — 8 years ago

Huge smoky flavor. Cask strength so very, very strong — 8 years ago
Not as peaty as other Octomores I've had. And that's perfectly fine. This was the first in the frosted bottle I've had. Solid. Would buy for an every night scotch. — 9 years ago

This is from one of 39 bottles that came from a barrel of Scotch bottled by Bruichladdich under the Port Charlotte label. It was distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2009, with a 7 year age statement. It's sweet bacon on the nose and spicy, smokey maple candy on the palette. — 10 years ago
Oh goodness. Best Single Malt Scotch I've ever had. Thanks Kevin — 11 years ago

Bruichladdich 10. 12 Year for Neil Swan.
Strong, needs water. With water:
Fiery, spicy and honey sweet, with medicinal flavours that sometimes catch on the nose and OK the aftertaste. Quite pleasantly grassy nose. Creamy. That hot and spiciness has some dark juicy flavours in it, like glace cherries or something — 7 years ago
