Made and bought at Brooks Winery. 100 cases made. Pale yellow white, very good clarity. Honey, floral notes in nose. Soft, medium body, honey flavor. Dry to off-dry but fruit makes it taste like it's sweet, deceptively so. Some skin astringency on finish with citrus, honey and a slightly bitter aftertaste. A notoriously difficult grape to make (good) dry wines from, but this one is decidedly above average. Worth seeking out if, like me, you admire well-made dry muscats — 7 years ago
Great acidic apple taste and mouthfeel. Vague lemon smell with a coppery aftertaste on the tip of the tongue. Fantastic for picnics! — 9 years ago
Petrol and pineapple. Dry to the point of being austere. Delicious — 9 years ago

Awesome, great end to thanksgiving — 9 years ago
Awesome — even after a day open — and with some basil, squash and quinoa salad. — 10 years ago
Low acidity with nice cherry notes — 10 years ago
Yes yes and yes. Take note, Oregon, California, whoever else out there making Riesling. Don't ruin it for us acid-heads. This is a Riesling made in an Alsace-style. Don't let the Willamette Valley on the label fool you. — 11 years ago
Really enjoyed this Pinot Blanc. Paired well with creamy food. — 6 years ago
Good body with notes of honeysuckle, lychee, and lemon zest. Lingering finish. — 7 years ago
More approachable than 2015. If anyone else makes a better Riesling in the New World, I’d certainly like to know about it. — 7 years ago
Another spin-off label from an intensive 2-day blending session that took place at Brooks Winery earlier this year. This particular label is the inspired blend of Sommelier, Cappie Peete of McCrady's in Charleston, SC. That's right, if you want to sample this wine, you'll have to visit the restaurant. And like the other wines that emerged from this session, the Heritage Red label is stylish, with overt silkiness set against tart, pitched red fruit—it's loaded with sour cherries, underbrush and white pepper. 13.5% ABV | Sample — 9 years ago
Meatiness for our peppered-Tbones.. Rose petal, Mo-Rockin spice, herbaceous depth that is reminiscent of running your hands over an eggplant or tomato leaf ... — 10 years ago

Best label of the year? tastes as good as it looks. Dry yet not austere. Methode Traditionelle. Chris Williams is a singular winemaker. Jimi Brooks would be proud. — 7 years ago
Very good, not overly fruity — 7 years ago
Almost amber in color with tropical and floral nose. The color belies the fact this is not an over extracted sweet juice. Beautifully bone dry with great acidity. Super. — 9 years ago
Very enjoyable. Well structured. Love these small vineyard wines! — 10 years ago
