The 2015 is a very well made wine from southwest France. 50% Syrah, 50% braucol. 12% alcohol. Medium ruby, medium intensity, nose of cassis, blackberry, chocolate, leather, corrugated steel, blood. On the palate, medium acidity and surprisingly silky tannins. More red and black fruit and a bit of iron. Outstanding value for the price and I wasn’t expecting much. — 7 years ago

Medium- bodied, dark purple. Nose is somewhat funky, not really corresponding with the flavor. Has that gamay profile, but has great depth of flavor, some good tannins, juicyness and and a long finish. Very delicious. Thanks brother! — 7 years ago

Sourced from organically farmed grapes in hillside vineyards - iron clayish soils In Marcillac A.C, this 100% Fer (Braucol in Gaillac) displays the mineral - earthy notes from the soil along with vibrant red fruit notes..this is not intriguing like CF or Gamay. It's more revealing and difficult to forget once you taste it one or twice. Ideal as a summer red but also good with cheeses during the winter :) — 8 years ago
