Dégorgement: 01/2016, Dosage: 2-4g/l, Really great Meunier, quite young, but a beautifully structured style. — 9 years ago
At first I didn't realise this had no dosage. Perfectly balanced non-dosé - perhaps the partial malo helped toned down the acidity, or maybe some rs in the base/ex-tirage wine. Chalky undertones (perfect expression of terrior imo), nice autolytic characters (2 years in bottle), apple, grapefruit, lemon, honey, and a touch of stinky funk. Really quite a delicious bdb.
Note: Laherte Frères. Grower champagne from Coteaux Sud d'Épernay (slopes to the south of Épernay). Young winemaker, Aurelian Laherte, joining family estate. Biodynamically farmed, wild yeast ferments, 80% of cuvees fermented in old oak (ex-Ben Leroux and Liger-Belair). Focus on terrior. — 10 years ago

A beautiful brilliant magenta color with exuberant plum, raspberry, black cherry, and pretty floral aromas with a bit of smokiness. The palate is silky, medium-bodied, fresh, and balanced with just enough tannins to add structure with alluring raspberry, red plum, and hints of strawberry and spice with a very giving finish. Ready to drink now, but should age well over the next 2-5 years. 12.5% abv — 10 years ago
Second white wine at Table #2 at Oakton Wine Shops Bucket List Tasting.
Clear pale yellow. A bit stinky on the nose with some hay and cheese. Took some time to open up with some citrus notes. High acidity (7.5/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Needs some time to open up but has notes of citrus and gravel. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2028. — 9 years ago
Absinthe Brasserie & Bar SF 2/26/17
MP: second bottle. Much richer and more of a yeasty and doughy feel to it. A little on the heavy side definitely a stronger bubble.
Jeets: very complex very floral. Darker champagne really enjoyable bottle — 9 years ago

Drank this after the Collin and it felt a little clunky and disjointed by contrast. Would prefer to try again on its own. Disgorged 2/2017. 60% Meunier, 30% chard, 10% PN — 9 years ago
