Rockin brambleberry and violet with minerality in spades. Submerged tannins combined with great length and purity. — 10 years ago
I was excited to try this based on Andrew Murray's excellent Tous les Jours.
Indeed, this did not disappoint. Deep red in the glass. A very interesting cola note combined with violets on the nose. Initially, I was concerned this was going to be underwhelming after a few sips. But with some time in the glass, it opened nicely. Lovely mouth coating wild strawberries and brambleberry. Excellent oak integration. Medium tannins. Very good showing. — 10 years ago

My oh my, my friends in Cali and NZ would love to b able to make this: deliciously complex wine, superficially fruit driven but with marvellous cut of stalk, brambleberry, w a touch of Provence herb. Long, satisfying, ever so slightly "plump" ( by Burgundian standards) however a beautiful new world Pinot. — 11 years ago
A pearler: talk about value for money, this is it in spades. Wonderful dark black and brambleberry fruit, savoury, dried meats , a veritable salumeria with all the condiments. Bloody delicious! — 11 years ago

Roasted almonds, red currant, cherry liquor, nutmeg, clove, anise, and baked plums. Juicy on the palate with baked dark fruit - think brambleberry pie. Lively, well balanced and delicious. Best QPR wine I’ve ever had. — 8 years ago

This wine is a solid 95 even still, and has 96 potential in the next year when it will be a pop and pour wine. This is a hawthorne and jasmine, purple, black and blue fruit, earth and brambly cabernet franc that takes no prisoners. A full bodied wine from start to finish, this one has a nose of wildflowers, blueberry and brambleberry. The entry is dark, full bodied, still a touch acidic and a touch sweet with a blue/black/purple dark entry, giving way to a touch of petrol in the middle. Darker finish actually, dusty black fig and blackberry with a hint of fruitcake spice. Still a bit tannic as well when served PNP, but backed off after 30 minutes in the glass (enjoyed via Coravin). Still has 5-7 years left -- immense structure to this wine. — 8 years ago
This wine represents the death of the wine critic. On one hand, this was rated 91+ by WA but 86 by WS. On the other, the overall cuvée has higher impressions here.
Personally, and I suspect many of you are with me, the critic score has lessened significantly over the last couple of years. I would much rather buy a wine based on your reviews than what the professionals have to say.
Overall, this had great acidity. Wonderfully balanced with toasted oak and brambleberry. A lingering finish. A great job for a challenging vintage. — 9 years ago

Brambleberry, raspberry and brick dust on the aroma. On the palate, the dew on the leaves of the earth, marshmallow. Soft tannins and medium finish leaving you with wanting more. #groupnotes by Elise, Ohhad, and Amy — 12 years ago
Ripe, burley, and complex. Replete with brambleberry, spice and truffle. With just enough structure on the finish to give length and composure. — 13 years ago

Vanilla painted brambleberry. Metallic berried licorice. Soft jam and blackberry bunches. Full bodied surface. Good, but not anything special. Does not speak to my soul. — 8 years ago
