Holy heck I paid less than nothing (i.e. around ten) and this overdelivers...if you like licorice and/or anise. I'm a nut for those so...also you get medium plus acid medium minus tannins and all the perfectly-ripe-yet-still-firm berries you could wish for. Even on night two of sipping. Smells smoky dark fruit. Not tart cherry. Ripe blueberry and chocolate. Very smooth and dry. Not spicy. Not tobacco. Not musty. Not earthy. Not sweet. I know what it's not. But not able to think of what it is. Very drinkable. I wonder how it will taste tomorrow. Medium body so should be good next day too. Some floral to it too. I enjoy it.
