2006 vs 2013 tasting. While the 13 was big, bold and powerful the 06 still carried those traits but in a subdued manor with finesses. Looking forward to my shipment of 13 next spring and picked up some 06s to hold me over. Love the petit Verdot in this really gives it that silky feel and beautiful color. — 11 years ago

I am not a fan of Pinot Noir but this one is delicious. Almost as bold and big as my favorite Washington reds. — 12 years ago
This is an excellent wine. Hints of black cherry and spice, very bold yet smooth. Excellent flavor and great legs. Highly recommend — 10 years ago

Lucious floral and fruit aromas followed by bold flavors of raspberry jam with subtle oak overtones. Well structured and balanced with great mouthfeel and a great lingering finish. One of my favorite big Pinot Noir's. — 11 years ago
Amazingly complex bottle of wine. Deep flavors bold. Great bottle. — 11 years ago
For the young age of this wine it is a great buy. Dark color and bold. On the palate you can taste a chocolate flavor. This is a great wine. — 12 years ago

Spicy, dry and bold. Excites the appetite — 13 years ago
This is an incredible wine for the price point and age. Big, bold, complex. One of my favorites in the $30 range. — 10 years ago
Extremely dense and bold. Big and spicy cab, perhaps too much to drink on its own but pairs beautifully with rich fatty meats such as pork belly or foie gras. — 11 years ago
Jonathan picked this one out and I absolutely loved the spiciest. It's a nice, easy one to drink :) — 11 years ago
A truly remarkable expression of what a Super Tuscan can be. Antinori's innovative blend started the craze back in the 1970's. This vintage is worthy of the admiration. A bold blend of not only local favorite Sangiovese but Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. On the nose you're immediately hit with rose petals, allspice and forest floor. On the palate the structure truly reveals itself. Dark, sour cherry, raw cocoa, a little oaky vanilla and a hint of charred orange rind. Incredibly diverse flavor profile backed up with plenty of soft, dusty tannins and enough acidity to hold for years to come. One of the greats.
