The 2021 proprietary blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 10% Petite Sirah, 6% Syrah, 6% Petite Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc, sourced from across California. Nose is amazing. So much there, cigar box, cherry, black fruit, - one of those u could just sniff endlessly. Big extracted wine, but I wouldn’t call it a fruit bomb. Lot to think about with this. With a rib-eye, this really hit.

Carmel or whiskey and vanilla aromas. Blackberry flavor. Excellent.

So this wasn’t TOO heavy on the extraction and oakiness. Pretty nice blend of fresh and developing red and black fruit, relatively restrained oak notes (at least compared to the last Napa red I had). But personally I feel like Napa winemakers in general rely too much on over-toasted oak. Finish was shorter than I expected but overall not bad. Might be better with a little more bottle aging

Fantastic red blend from California. Powerful flavor, tannic, balanced, dark fruit.

Lots of blackberry, cassis fruit with a pencil lead long finish. Great example of a well made California Cab. Recommend pairing with red meat!!! Nice wine to have with friends that don’t understand wine.
