At the nexus of melted snow and liquid gold. Great sweet citrus and stone fruit, some rustic hay aromatics, and just the right amount of acid to carry along the sugar hidden in there. I had to deal with the ferry building and a small bout of minor food poisoning to have this, but I dare say it was worth it. — 10 years ago

Awesome! Dry and mineral. Lingering notes of iron. Really opened nicely over the 2 hours. We had it in the decanter. Unfortunately I was working in my office while Tammy sat next to the decanter...... so my rating is challenged with the fact I had very little to taste 😳 — 9 years ago

Tonight, post-flight, in a cool Baltimore area steakhouse, jazz licks flying, and a meal of tasty barbecued mushroom filet, this bottle lived up to its full potential with plush spicy ripe dark berries, decent acidity, mild smooth tannins, and comforting freshness.
