Blend of Grenache Blanc & Chard which really works: straw colored w/hint of green sporting generous aromas of honeysuckle, jasmine - really floral along with cantaloupe & melon. Bit of musk & green citrus. On the palate it is big & silky, very suave with flavors of tangerine wrapped in white flowers. Great acidity vigor & balance here. 1994 Artadi Grandes Anadas Reserva Tempranillo. Dinner at Tap during staycation. K couldn't remember where or how he had gotten this, but thought it was worth a try. Drank after the '08 Flowers PN and what a contrast. This wine was big, chewy and funky- not barnyard, but earth, mushrooms, musty moss. A predictably loved this wine. We really enjoyed it and thought that it drank great, but could hold a while longer. — 9 years ago
