On the palate plum and bright cherry fruit flavors, well balanced with acidity, very fresh taste from a year not declared by most houses. Xmas wine down finale. For me, the wine of the night. Uncorked the night before, decanted at 4:00 on Xmas, consumed around midnight. Single quintas are certainly worth considering alongside the vintages. Not as complex, true, but much depth and character. — 10 years ago
