It was sweet but nice change from a dry wine. — 10 years ago
Velvety mouthfeel with medium tannins. Robust red and dried fruits, finish of vanilla and graphite. Quaffable af. Would pair with lamb, rabbit, pork, cheese, hummus. Versatile. Honestly not worth it's price point. An off vintage from a delicious vinyard. Would not be hard to find a bottle 1/5 of the price. — 10 years ago

GabWine
Color : Red
Wine estate : Château Montrose
Designation : Saint-Estèphe
Name : Saint-Estèphe Grand Cru Classé
Country : France
Vivino : 4.5/5
Note : Opening of this Montrose for a birthday, her bloody red robe, dense and beautiful. A nose of tobacco, chocolate and leather. Once in the mouth, we feel the explosion of tannins with red fruit flavors. It concludes very gently with notes of tobacco to give us time to recover from this trip. — 7 years ago
