04’ Joseph Phelps Insignia . Thought it would be close to a pop & pour...NO! Thick tannins that dissipate nicely after a 45 minute decant. Full - bodied.
Color- Dark purple
Nose- Flowers , lavender
Palate- Blackberry , espresso, light oak, nicely integrated acidity.
WOW... Seamless/smooth.
Drinking- now with another 5+? great years. Could possibly be many more. Drinking so nicely, why wait. — 8 years ago
As it says on the label "un fino que va para amontillado" — 9 years ago
Fully mature, still some fruit left, not a block buster - but tasty and no trace of cabbage — 10 years ago
Welcome my fellow wine lovers. This is Trione 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon !!!!!!!!! OMG. The cork is perfect with a very thin rim. The color is opaque midnight purple. The legs are amazing at a full 12 second fall and very thick. The bouquet is reminiscent of dark berries and figs with a hint of gardenia. The initial palate is blackberry, black pepper, spice with a vanilla twist. There are hints of oak and cedar. The finish is so buttery smooth with no after taste. It is dry and leaves you longing for the another sip! This may be my favorite wine ever. This is too good to drink with food!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish I could afford a case of this! I highly recommend you try this wine. — 10 years ago

Beautiful Malbec. Nose of red fruits. Full bodied, dry and with great structure. Hints of vanilla, and the minerality and acidity of altitude malbecs. Smooth and long. Great example of a well done malbec. — 8 years ago

Very nice cool climate Syrah, my fave. Nice fruit, but no impression of sweet. Nice tannin finish. — 11 years ago
Wow. Still lots of primary fruit and acid. Leather and forest floor coming out nicely. Amazing but for $265....? No. — 12 years ago
Yes. I want more. — 13 years ago
String barrel on nose. Ripe black fruit. Dense on palate. Dark fruit. Good flow. Strong barrel. — 8 years ago
Used to utilize it exactly as the name suggests. Giving away to ladies to make their life a bit sweeter. It does work. No chocolate, a very thin may be even subtle aroma. Currant, a bit of other dark berries and spices taste. This one had better years and hopefully some good ones ahead. — 8 years ago
Great value for the money — 9 years ago
